Internship 2011: Complex Games
During my game design studies, I have had the opportunity to do my internship at Complex Games in Winnipeg, Canada.
This was an adventure of a lifetime. Within the first week of arrival, we traveled by land from Winnipeg to San Francisco. Attended my first GDC.
During my internship, I have mainly been working on Emud. A game build to monitor the mental state of children with a long-term illness.
I created 4 different games. From design, to prototype, to final build. Next to this, I also implemented the second world.
There was a 5th game, but this got canceled during the prototype phase.
During my stay, I kept a blog covering my life there. You can find it here.
